Red-Shouldered Hawk

I heard a lot of commotion in the back yard yesterday morning and knew the Red-Shouldered Hawk must be nearby. He was- just at the edge of the woods! It is not as easy to see in this photo, but when the sunlight hits those brownish patches on his shoulders, they turn a reddish-brown color.

Off on a photo club get-together. I shall return!
