Of course the nurse walked in when I was taking this!
Here I am fresh out of surgery- Piggy is sitting on top of the knee which was operated on. We moved the ice pack over to take the shot. The green things around my ankles helped to keep the swelling down- they compressed and decompressed at regular intervals for the first 24 hours and then they took them off- but the critters were more interested in the contraption that I had to suck on to put some extra oxygen into my lungs- all to help prevent blood clots.
Well done Ann, never let a photo opportunity pass you by. Good to have the your photo friends with you in hospital. Hope all is going well and you make a speedy recovery.
So creative, even after surgery! What a trooper you are! The animals were there for support and companionship. The leg compression things felt sort of like massages to me.
Its definitely not funny that you had an operation but this made me laugh! So glad you took your friends with you and didn't let the photo opportunity pass you by.
Thank you Milanie, Gloria, Babs, Lisa, Lou Ann, Linda, Sally, Monique, Kathy, Clare, Vesna and Felicity!
Well, you know what they say, "Laughter is the best medicine" and it certainly made laugh when the nurse walked in on me photographing my little plastic friends. Her expression was priceless! Thanks for all the well- wishes. I am slowly on the mend and doing well!

Thank you Haskar and Nina! I'm still achy and have some pain but each day is a little better than the day before and in spite of that I am walking better than I was before the surgery. I appreciate your well-wishes!
