Sam brought along a Lego book which had several different backdrops and lots of props as well as instructions on how to make your own Lego Movie. So last Saturday afternoon we set up my light box and made two of them! This one featured a speedy delivery gal serving up a pizza on a skateboard. I had the Lego guy with the camera so we added him into the scene. We think CJ the Legographer would have enjoyed doing this with us.
Hahaha this is amazing!! What a cool book and I love your setup with your own little Legographer taking a photo of the pizza delivery dude. The backdrop works out very well as do their fun expressions! CJ would have had a blast in this scene and would probably really want a slice of pizza!
Just a side note: Not sure if it was your intention or not but the green shirt that the pizza dude is wearing is actually for females (if you look carefully at the chest and curves). It's a mistake I almost make all the time when buying shirts for CJ, who identifies as male. Just wanted to check and see if you noticed it or not. ;)
@cjphoto Oh- no I didn't realize that but Sam actually put him together and I'm pretty sure he didn't see it either- he's 9 and doesn't think about any of that at all! Well, I guess I'll have to redo the write-up! Thanks for pointing that out as I'm sure there'll be more of these movies in the future. It was a lot of fun to do.
@olivetreeann - Oooh, that makes sense. They didn't make these specific lego pieces back when I was 9 but if they did, I wouldn't have noticed either. Haha. Regardless, still a very fun shot! You've been bite by the lego bug, so much fun. You're welcome, happy to help! :)

Thanks to all! This was a lot of fun- I might even do some involving Piggy and the Critters!
@cjphoto True- Legos have come a LONG way since my sons were Sam's age!!
