Music in the Making

Jeff was practicing the banjo today. I snapped a shot of his finger picks when he was taking a break.
An nice look at these picks. It's not everyday that I see them, on or off the fingers.

How interesting, I have never seen a banjo player and certainly not the finger picks.

I've heard that the definition of a gentleman is somebody who knows how to play the banjo, and doesn't.

I’ve never seen those before either, they’re not like a guitar pluck

@randystreat @ludwigsdiana @frankroberts @jamibann @grammyn @rensala @hjbenson @theredcamera @ninaganci @ljmanning @pyrrhula

Thank you Kathy, Diana, Frank, Issi, Katy, Renee, Harry, Ellen, Nina, Laura and Ferry!

I didn't move these, just shot them the way he had placed them on the table top.

@frankroberts I have never heard that before!

Here's a shot of Jeff playing it with my grandson Micah

@olivetreeann It's one of my standby jokes about music. Being a banjo player myself (rank beginner), I keep them at the ready. The other two are:
If you throw a banjo and an accordion out a 5th story window, which one hits the ground first? (A: Who cares?)
And my favorite - which doesn't refer to banjos:
What is the definition of a quarter-tone? (A: Two oboes playing in unison).
I'll be here all week.
