Arty Onion by onewing

Arty Onion

Amazing what you find when you clean out the fridge.

Luckily it was the only thing I had to throw out apart from two pickled onions in a jar.

The shelves are all nice and tidy again now
I need to sort my fridge too - I am pretty sure there would be a jar or two at the back that look like a science experiment hahaha

@ludwigsdiana I cut them this way when I want onion rings and only use a bit of the onion at a time but I cut them top to bottom when I dice them.

You could plant it in your garden and have fresh onions soon. Great capture, I like it with the black background.

My daughter-in-law would plant this in her garden. She does it with celery too. Good shot.

@annied @maggiemae @casablanca @pusspup @bkbinthecity @ludwigsdiana @pcoulson @wakelys @beryl @louannwarren @dutchothotmailcom @jacqbb @susie1205 @merrelyn @mittens @fishers @tunia @carolmw @carole_sandford @happypat @samae @pyrrhula @gaf005 @radiogirl @olivetreeann @jgpittenger @shutterbug49 @rickster549 Thanks. Some of you suggested planting it in the garden. I have to admit I never thought of that, but I am sure I will come across another onion in the fridge at some time in the future that begins to sprout before I have used it all so I will plant the next one.
