Baby Mangrove by onewing

Baby Mangrove

I was walking along the foreshore a few days ago close to where my favourite tree used to be. Sadly, the tree was destroyed in huge storms earlier this year, but now I see a baby mangrove growing, so good to see life continues.

In the distance you can see the remains of the now defunct oyster beds.
How lovely!

What a wonderful capture and sight, we are going to love watching it grow.

Beautiful, I love the points if the shoots of the mangroves. I’ve heard of mangrove fields but I’ve never seen a junior one…it’s very lovely. The tree looks like a bonsai shape.

@julzmaioro I don't think this mangrove is as famous as your Wanaka tree.

@ludwigsdiana Yes I remember the little planet of my favourite tree. It has featured in lots of photos on here over the years.

@pusspup It does have some friends close by.

@happypat There are lots of mangroves along this stretch of beach. It does look rather like a bonsai doesn't it.
