Newcastle Houses

Yesterday I posted a photo of the windows from a high-rise apartment block in Newcastle, but I still prefer the old-style houses. Luckily there are still lots of older houses around the area and not everywhere has been taken over by high rise apartment blocks yet.

I suppose there is quite a market for high rise apartments especially overlooking the ocean, but they don't have character like these properties do.
