Sentinels

Another photo from Newcastle because I haven't got much time for taking new photos at the moment.

As we walked along the esplanade the ocean pool is having a lot of work done at the moment and is closed for the time being. To the right of the ocean pool is this kiddie pool and that is closed too. I love how the metal sentinels appear to be keeping the ocean at bay. They look as though they are on guard duty.

Yes, the Newcastle ocean pool is closed at the moment. The job is huge and will be closed until mid 2023 I think.
