I am going to post bird photos for a few days now.
I put out seeds for the birds most days and we have lots of rainbow lorikeets visiting. We do have what we call 'the locals' and this pair land on the table in the garden and chase off every other bird, so we have to put seed out in a couple of places so they all get fed.
This I think is one of 'the locals' you can see he has got his claw on the seed tray, and he isn't sharing with anyone.
LOL yes, that look says, "Touch this camera lady and you're toast!" They are so colorful compared to our "locals" who sport more brown and black than orange and blue. Great shot!
I always used to find it hard to believe that these colours in nature could bee be real. But now I can see for myself as they have become common in British parks.
They are such entertaining birds and always fun to watch.
How interesting Helen that you have them in the UK now, they must have escaped from somewhere. Hope they have got used to the cold weather.
