Meerkat

This week I am posting photos taken at Oakvale Farm recently.

Today's photo is of a meerkat. I am not too keen on meerkats really, I always think they look quite dumb, but maybe I could be wrong.

@rickster549 I agree they do look sweet, but don't let that fool you. There is a certain hierarchy in their colonies and if one female is threatened by another female and her babies she will kill the babies of the threatened mother just to keep her subservient in the colony. So maybe they aren't as sweet as you think they are.
