For the next few days I am posting photos of some of the birds who visit our garden.
I had fed the currawong and kookaburra with raw mince, but Mrs Butcher Bird sat patiently waiting her turn in the frangipani tree until the others had been fed.
We have a family of butcher birds who visit. Mr and Mrs and also a baby, but this day she came on her own.
@keeptrying The camera I use most is a Panasonic Lumix FZ100 bridge camera because it isn't too heavy. I have had it for years. I keep thinking of upgrading to the FZ300 but while this one works I may as well stay with it. I also have a little Panasonic TZ80 that I keep in my handbag and that is quite good. Or I use my Samsung phone camera.
I also use my husband's cameras sometimes if I need a DSLR and he has Nikon's of various types. D 5200 and D7000 I think with various lenses. They are too heavy for me to use all the time though because I have neck problems. Hope that helps. This photo was taken with the FZ100
