Juvenile Raven

I checked out the colour of the eyes on this Australian raven and I read that their eyes are brown when they are born, turn blue as juveniles and then eventually end up white. So, this one is definitely a juvenile.

I took this photo when we were at Auburn Gardens in September and forgot to post it so here it is today as part of my bird theme. I didn't have to feed this one, ha ha.

Sorry I am a bit absent at the moment. We finally had storms last night we had lots of thunder and lightning but still not a lot of rain. Only 5 mm on our rain gauge. Rain forecast for the next few days though so that could help the garden.

This is the first time I have been so close to a raven. I see them on the trees but this one was quite tame and just sat next to me while I took his picture.
