You're never too old to play in sand.

A beautiful sunny day today so thought a play at making sand pies was in order.

@888rachel Only a few while I was setting up this photo. This was on our local beach and I think everyone is used to me taking odd photos by now!!

Made a few of these myself last summer under the supervision of my grandson, but they're known as sand castles over here.

@gamelee My grandsons live in Melbourne and that is over 1000 km from here so I had to make my own. Here sandcastles are when you have lots of them together and one on its own is a sand pie I think.
