Roast beef at last! by pamknowler

Roast beef at last!

Christmas Day cancelled. New Year’s Day cancelled. Finally on Barb’s birthday all covid free we could get together for a celebration. Colin was chef with Louise his assistant and we had roast beef with all the trimmings! The beef melted in the mouth and everything else was cooked to perfection! Roast potatoes, roasted parsnips and carrots in honey, huge Yorkshire puddings, peas and broccoli with gorgeous red wine gravy! Oh yes I forgot the cauliflower cheese! Yummy! What a feast! I still feel stuffed this morning!
After dinner we played silly games and we were crying with laughter! I cannot explain how wonderful all that laughter made me feel! Finally a family celebration!
Looks amazing. Glad you could meet
