As the sun was setting the sky turned orange and I noticed that the garden took on an orange glow.
I took Finlay to the Vets hospital this morning for his assessment and consultation. The vet thinks he has hurt his spine and he has booked him for an MRI scan on 22nd November. No further forward at the moment but hopefully the scan will let us know exactly what is going on. He gave Finlay a pain killing injection and he has to continue with the strong pain killers my own vet prescribed. He thinks the biting is pain related and in his memory of when we have touched him and it hurt. We have to keep away from those trigger points. The boys aggressive fighting he thinks is because George senses Finlay is weaker at the moment and trying to take advantage. After a sleepless night imagining the worst I can breath again for the time being. As the vet said we are not at that point yet. So on we go with Finlay on very strong drugs - he will be a junky after all this!!
Ooh! such worrying time for you with Finlay, Pam! - you are doing all you can for him, - if only he could tell you of his pains! and every hour must seem like days while you are waiting for further investigations. I hope you can keep George from aggravating the situation! Meanwhile, such a beautiful glow on your garden!
Good you feel like you’re moving forward Pam….an MRI scan will surely solve the problem. It seems to make complete sense what the vet says. What a worrying time you’ve had…it’s not been your time this last couple of years! 🤦♀️ Your garden looks magical.
Beautiful light in this capture. I am sorry there was not better news and to hear Finlay is in pain. Then, his little brother, George, taking advantage. A worrisome situation. Finlay needs some comfort but hard to know exactly where the hurt is. I hope the MRI has some answers for you.
