Not been out today and had to cancel lunch with Rosie as I have an infection in my sinuses - again!! The high pollen has really affected my hay fever this year which has caused this. Fed up with myself!!
I have kept indoors as I was quite lightheaded but went out to sit on the patio a little while ago and George followed me out and decided to have a paddle. I bought this childs paddling pool a few weeks ago when George was having trouble with his feet and seemed to be allergic to grass. He is on Piriton which I think is helping but he now jumps in the pool and walks round and round which is great for washing the grass off his feet.
Many thanks for visiting my project your comments are always very much appreciated!!
Oh the pair of you are in the wars! So sorry to hear that. Wishing you speedily well from the infection. Hay Fever has been really bad this year so far, my boy has been really suffering and even me and hubby have been sneezing this time. Feel for you. And poor wee George and his paws! Hope he is a lot better on the Piriton too. Sending lots of love to you and yours.
What a great idea. I am sure paddling will help ease the itching and pain in his feet.
Sorry to hear you are feeling a bit in the dumps too. I used to have terrible hay fever from being a child until in my late 20s, but my GP organized for me to have allergy tests and then for during the winter months one year I had an injection every week for 3 months and have never had hay fever ever since. Best thing I ever did.
Ratzzz, sorry to hear of your medical woes. We're both down with a rotten chesty cold which is not helped by the run of foggy, damp, grey days we're having.
@onewing strangely I never suffered with hay fever as a child but it suddenly hit me about 10 years ago. This years I think it’s worse because the grass pollen is so high and I know people who have had it for the first time. The vet said they have had so many more dogs suffering with allergies this year. George and I have our antihistamines tablets together each morning! So funny!
So funny to think of you and George with your antihistamines! Hope Finlay doesn't get it too! Seriously, it's very annoying - I hope you get relief soon.
My sympathies - I know how painful the sinuses can get - hope you feel better soon
