Yesterday I went for a walk along the canal up to Alexander Stadium to see the completed works and to listen to the crowds watching the Commonwealth games.
There is a reservoir/nature reserve that runs along the side of the stadium and I managed to get part of the stadium through the trees surrounding the water.
It was lovely listening to the crowds cheering the athletes on and to see the completed stadium full to the rafters with people.
