Cinnabar moth

Very few butterflies around at the moment due to the recent rains but I did spot this Cinnabar moth sunning itself on a leaf.
We had a lovely walk from Burton upon Trent to Branston today. The rain held off and it was pleasantly warm which suited us fine.

A beautiful shot of this beautiful moth. Reminds me of walking south along the coast from Douglas in the Isle of Man, where there were huge numbers of these. Fav!
