BEFORE THEY BLOOM

We have some lillies that we bought at the weekend and they have yet to bloom. I decided I could take a picture of the buds as they are now and then another one in a few days when they are in full bloom.

I therefore get to fill two days with one subject. A bit like 'two for the price of one offers' in the Supermarket or BOGOF ..'Buy One Get One Free'.

There's a bit of a chair leg in the top right hand corner of the shot. I could have cloned it out, but I don't really think that is necessary on 365 as I am sure you will let a little flaw go by :)

Pointing out the bit of a chair leg reminds me of the rugs created by Native American weavers. They always weave in an imperfection so they don't challenge the gods!
