I like the reflections in the water, amazing how clear the upside down image is there..the water must have been really still...now to turn my head back up right :^)
@patsyjphillips Patsy, thanks for your comments. I dont know if it would have been better with a bit of movement in the water, but the canal is very still other than the occassional duck floating by. I took nearly 30 photos in 20 minutes by the canal...not all of the same boat I may add !
@allie912 Allison, thanks for taking time to comment, as for enjoying the first awakenings of spring, we've had a ground frost the last two nights but it has got to about 10C during the day, The yellow bush (winter jasmine - i think) is about the only bush at the moment that is showing colour.
@gill Gill thank you very much for your kind comments and it's good that my 180 degree reversed reflection meets with your approval. I hope you did not hurt your head swivelling it around....I've not known any ladies turn their head at me before !
This is brilliant, for a moment I thought to myself 'No, that can't be a reflection, it's too clear' until I turned my laptop upside down and it all made sense! Fascinating shot and great idea rotating it!
Great idea for a shot, Phil - and it's worked really well here.
You said "Maybe I should have cropped the image so it is all 'reflection' " - I think it works just as it is, so there's the contrast between the real and the reflected.
