Sanvitalia - Inca by phil_howcroft

Sanvitalia - Inca

...Or so it says on the label from the garden centre....

These are tiny flowers about a cm in diameter and are growing as a bedding plant in one of our garden tubs.

This shot is a little straight on , I prefer flower shots to be at a bit of an angle so you can see depth, but they are so tint, that isolating just one on its own at an angle was too difficult

I'm afraid I'm on flower shots again, but hey it is summer in the UK and our gardens and borders are starting to look good, so it is good to capture these while we can :)

Great capture and detail. Very lovely.

Ok I'm off to look in my book! lol Love the detail here Phil. I know what you mean about straight on. I learnt a lot from @blightygal aka Frieda who has finished her year now, but she did some fabulous flower shots taken at an angle and from the side. Love your tags!! heheh Hope you are looking out for hoverflies now!

great detail - especially for one so small!!

This is very bright & cheerful & until you said it was quite small I would have thought otherwise ! It looks quite waxy in the middle & 13 petals ..that is a lot for a small flower !! Great capture !

Very nice indeed - I'd never have guessed it was a littly - really lovely detail.

looks good, quite like the face on shot.

I think straight on was the right choice for this shot, gives it a great arty feel and really it could be any size. Really love this pic!

Glad for the added info that this is a tiny little flower. Isn't it amazing what the camera can do? I thought it was about the size of a sunflower! No matter what the size, The Creator takes the same care for each blossom and leaf.

Superb shot, the focus is perfect and the colour is very intense. I don't think I know of that plant but assume is is South America is it a type of daisy or what? Ta for the interminable tag :-)
