Our daughters are taking Jane and myself out for a pre Christmas treat one of our fave Nottingham restaurants (French in case you can't tell !) .

Very nice, Phil! Wish I could go with them! Sounds like fun! They don't by chance have a "Sheriff's" place or a pub named after "Robin Hood," do they? LOL! Sorry, but your "Nottingham" grabbed my attention and that's the first thing I thought of!

@marlboromaam we have lots of pubs named after Robin Hood and his friends......'Little John' , 'Friar Tuck' , 'Maid Marion' 'Major Oak', 'Robin Hood' are all names of pubs within our local community !!

As well as having a mayor of the city we actually have a 'sheriff of Nottingham' ..............
