How to pass through a stile whippet style !

We went for a walk this afternoon (Sunday)...it was cold but sunny and the sun started melting the frost from the other night.

We walked from Arnold to Bestwood country park, which involved climbing over several stiles.

This is how you do a stile when you are a skinny little whippet.......squeeze through the gap on the side !!

It's not the best of pictures, the lighting was difficult (lots of sun and shadow) and I had to adjust the lighting in PSE to try and get some detail in Ruby

Oh and I had to do a crop too, my wife didn't want me to post her picture so i cropped off her head (I was going to say chopped off her head........but crop sounds far better) !!!

@allie912 thanks allison, the pathway is to an old route than coal miners used to walk on the way to Bestwood colliery (Bestwood is an old mining village - the mine closed a long time ago).....Ruby enjoys her walks :)

Quite a wide stile as stiles go !!! Good old Ruby & you have made her fatter with her coat on so she would a bit more squeezed !!! Nice crop & good shadows !

Great shot Phil - we've had a few Greyhounds that refuse to "do" styles and we have to carry them over ! what princesses!! glad Ruby is a bit more agile!
