The view from the 58 bus - we gave up the front seat
Friends on here will know I've done lots of pictures from the top deck / front seat of the 58 bus
On Saturday it was raining and although we sat in the front seat you could not get a picture through the window because of the rain drop smears (top decks of buses don't have windscreen wipers)
It actually made your eyes feel funny looking through the wet smear, so we changed seats.
This is a shot of a man who did not seem put off by the smeary windscreen (he was eating his sandwiches - note to viewers you are not allowed to eat food and drink on our buses)
A tad grainy shot, I used the poles on the bus to frame shot. You can see the sears on the window
I've missed a week from the end of our holiday, but will be back filling it with images from last week and a couple of arty one's from the holiday. I decided I need to be on the same week as everyone else rather than run behind !!
Good capture of this man breaking rules!!! It must have felt funny riding along in the bus not seeing where you were going! You got a very clear picture & the framing using your bus 'props' a great idea.
Ahh, I knew there'd be more to you giving up your prime spot! You'd never guess this was from the middle of June, would you? Hope you get some sunnier days soon :)
Phil...This is one of your best ever bus shots. I really feel for this guy who is now going to be in front of you. We'll see him in every one of his moods...
