Sunglasses and a cup of tea

Sunday saw temperatures rise in the UK and this shot reflects a quite moment late on Sunday afternoon when I had a 'cup of tea' in my 'weekend mug' and caught a few sun rays.

The sun glasses are my 'old ones', which tend to get lost on a regular basis and then reappear in unusual places !

Lots of high key (OK over exposed) light and shade here, but monochrome appears to work well

I like this black & white & the perspective of the whole picture. The reflected sun spots on the rim of the mug & lens of glasses give the photo a lift. Great DOf & have seen you have a new lens, well you are working it well ! A birthday perhaps?
