Not a Danny Boyle Olympic Opening Ceremony Sculpture

This is not an Olympic Opening Ceremony sculpture / model / creation.........although it could quite possibly pass for one...and although the ceremony was hailed a big success, there were some bits I found a bit obscure and hard to follow !

This is a sculpture / bit of art / garden feature ......its a crane that lives in a sunny corner of our garden by a little chair / bench.

It landed in our garden from Lidl a few weeks ago and is a nice addition to our garden. Ruby has had a good sniff but she doesn't seem bothered ...."am I bovvered,,, " .....

No name for the crane yet !

I think you should name it "Bob!" LOL! After Bob Crane of the Hogan's Heros variety. =) Very nice composition, Phil! It's a lovely scupture, too!

Has it got a wobbly head, it looks like the neck is a spring. Rather nice Phil & you can pick some unusual things up from Lidl although I have only ever been in Aldi but much the same I think.

The heads neck is not wobbly it is quite firm :) ....I thought of the name Colin ...Colin Crane ...but most animals we have had / do have ...have always been ladies !!!
