This is a Voigtländer Vito B, a vintage camera that I bought in a charity shop a few weeks ago.
I put a Kodak 35mm film in it and have just received the processed film results. So my next few uploads are going to be photos from the said film !
Voigtländer Vito B was manufactured in West Germany between 1954 and 1959. The lens is fixed lens (it cannot be removed), a Color-Skopar 50mm, with an f2.8 maximum aperture (it is a classic four element Tessar design).
No such thing as auto focus 70 years ago , you have to estimate the distance your subject is from the camera.
Anyway look out for some retro shots on my photostream.
@christinav I grew up shooting in film and it does exactly that......makes you wait and think about what you want to shoot. Though I imagine the digital age is a godsend for wedding photographers. Mistakes an absolute nightmare on film!
@zilli my first photo is online Zilli
