It snowed heavy today, from about 11 am to ...well it was still snowing when i took this "night time shot" .
I shot 70+ shots with my tripod tonight, in about 40 minutes. Some were good, some were average, some were poor !!!
This is the 58 Bus ....many of my friends on 365 will know of my photo adventures on the 58 bus.
The 58 bus does not normally travel on this road, it's route had been diverted because it could not get up the last mile or so of hills in the Arnold housing estates.
It was hard getting the 'snow white because the orange glow from the street lamps had turned it a tad orangey. If you view large you can see how tricky it is under foot and on the road
Never seen your 58 bus looking like this before - its a very cool shot Phil, well done. Plus Im pretty jealous of your snow. We have been waiting for the massive amount of snowfall and disruption round these parts but its just not happening, nothing more than a dusting that melts halfway through the day. Havnt even got the sledges out yet!
Nothing is ever right........too much snow, not enough snow, not sticky snow and the wrong snow!! Love this country!! and your slippy slidey snow!! and your famous 58 bus!!
great night shot Phil, love your number 58 bus! it's the only problem with living in suburbia...those orange glows don't do much for crisp white snow! great capture, looks like you got quite a bit there
Oh cool! They grit the bus routes in Cambridge but not the other roads which means that they do half of our road - ridiculous!! It causes mayhem as people get half way and then get stuck.
