A bit of a Ruby photo shoot this afternoon as she lounged around snoozing.
As for the title of my shot ....Noisy Bokeh Whippet....I'm not for one minute suggesting Ruby is a noisy Whippet...quite the contrary...she only barks at cats, pigeons and dogs who bark at her !. The title originates from the poor light which meant the shot is on the highest ISO setting (ISO 1600) and on a wide open aperture...hence the noise and bokeh.
Despite Ruby snoozing, she sat up and listened to the noise of a helicopter flying around Arnold....probably the Police helicopter tracking some local robbery or stolen vehicle !!! We saw Arnold and the helicopter on one of those Police, Camera , Action documentaries which seem to be a popular genre of 'entertainment' on the TV
Ruby looks very striking against the bokeh. You have captured so much detail on her face, her gorgeous eye and classic one ear! She seems like such a wonderful dog...
