Here Comes The Snow Again ...At least Ruby likes it !

I want to walk in the open wind ....
Well it snowed most of the night and it's snowed all day. This is Ruby on her morning walk in the snow and wind ...and it was snowing hard in this picture (view large to see the snowflakes) .....it was snowing on her lunchtime walk, snowing on her evening walk and it's still snowing now !
Skinny whippet dogs love the snow. Ruby is racing through the snow chasing her hoop !!
I'm quite pleased with this, I shot it with my little panny TZ7 and point and shoot cameras are not best suited for action pictures because of the lag between clicking the shutter and processing the image.
What's all this none sense about too...snow and sub zero temperatures in March...this time last year I was posting pictures of my tulips against deep blue skies and wearing my shorts and t-shirt for the first time !
My daughter said the original image did not show Ruby's eyes too well, so I used the Dodge and Burn tool in GIMP to try and emphasise them better.
Blimey Phil - it's ha;f way up her legs!! we've had a bit, nothing like you guys North of the Watford Gap! I believe this time last year it was a heat wave for the time of year about 22 degrees! Ruby looks to be having fun - our dogs can't stand the snow!!
@sparkle The weather forecast for Friday was awful, but Friday was actually OK. I think the snow came 24 hours late ......the snow had drifted a bit where Ruby is running , so it looks a tad deeper than it actually was ..but we had a fair old amount drop on Nottingham !
Ruby has her fur collar on & does look very cosy, something about snow that sends dogs into wild excitement & you can see it here in Ruby's body & the way she is poised to take off....lovely Phil....I bet yours & Rubys noses were red!!
