This is another shot on a lunch time walk from work.
It's a shot from the a foot bridge which spans the rail and tram tracks in Old Basford .....Basford Crossings.
The perfect picture would be a bus on the road, a train on the track and a tram on the rails ....but I might have to wait for some time for that shot !
If you view large you will see an "Arnold / Bulwell" direction sign, but it's pointing the wrong way...it's been twisted round.
I cross Basford Crossing in my car on my way to and from my new place of work. It's about 2 minutes drive from school....I've crossed this crossing daily for 14 years.....but when I was contacting I had a 90 minute drive to Birmingham / Coventry / Warwick !!! 3 weeks into my new job that 90 minute extension seems a long way away ...well it was ...60, 64 and 70 miles respectively !!!
Hope the new job is going well, now you've got more time from your commute, I reckon you should try the tram, train, car, pedestrian and maybe a bus too! LOL!!
