Ladybird Poppy

This is the inside of a "ladybird poppy".

I took the shot at yesterdays visit to the BBC Food and Garden show at the NEC in Birmingham.

The "ladybird poppy" seemed a popular plant at the show.

We bought three of them and I planted them in my garden this afternoon.

Expect to see a shot of our ladybird poppies once they are established and in flower

very cool - never seen one of these before - saw some fabulous purple ones the other day in Hyde Park - I love Poppies but they are not in abundance this year
