This is a mass of tiny little pink flowers climbing over our rockery.
They are part of the dianthus family
They provide a carpet of colour and if you split them in the autumn you can transplant them elsewhere in your garden.
I googled them and google told me the following...............Dianthus 'Firewitch'
Hardy Perennial
Leaves are heavily silvered and
perfectly lanced shaped.
Foliage provides a dense mat for
weed suppression.
Short flowering stalks erupt with
large blooms.
Extended blooming season over
many dianthus varieties.
Clove scented blooms
Drought tolerant once established
Oh I bet that is beautiful. I used to grow dianthus in my flower beds before we moved to a condo where the management plans all the landscaping in the public areas. Unfortunately my backyard patio just doesn't get the right sun, so I will have to enjoy your flowers instead.
