Park Gates 3

My third picture in a mini series of Mobile Phone pictures of the entrances to Vernon Park, Basford, Nottingham .... hence the title Park Gates 3

Vernon Park is a municipal park, an oasis of green in an inner city urban environment.

This is entrance at the side of one of Basfords factories /industrial units

Not quite the park entrance you would expect

I'm behind on posting and commenting (I've been out thursday / friday AND saturday night !!!...unheard of 3 days running)

Yesterday I had a conversation with the man walking across the frame....no such exciting chat with the man who can be seen walking down the pavement

I can see now why that house hasn't sold , there is a factory slap bang behind it!! I thought it was all leafy suburb but obviously mistaken.....what a shame!!

@happypat thnx pat, the park is flanked by busy roads, factories and houses .....it's a nice stroll at lunchtime though...the queen visited it last year as part of her jubilee tour thingy
