Lavender

I don't know if this is a bee or hoverfly on a lavender stem in our garden.

Anyway it's a nice pic, shot on a warm afternoon in our garden. Some bits of the lavender are a bit blown out, but I still like the shot.

We were hoping to eat el fresco tonight, but the rain started at 6.20 pm, just as I was about to serve out !

It has just started raining here at 10.so...we need it badly , lets hope it knows when to stop!!

@gerry thanks gerry, i did a lavender bee shot last summer ..... different lavender bush though :)
