Unknown Wild Flowers

We grew these from some wild flower seeds (a free sample I think).....We found the packet of seeds in our shed.

I normally keep the empty packet of seeds as reference on how to look after the flowers etc., but I seem to have misplaced the empty packet, so now we don't know what they are. I suspect they might be poppies ....or at least part of the poppy family, but the colour is not poppy'ish.



Anyway, these purple / blueish flowers look very pretty and are well worth a place on my 365.

Definitely anemones - one of my favourites and in fact the theme for my wedding - the bridesmaids had them in their hair. I grew some too but only got white ones (from little bulbs though maybe???)

@judithg you are right judith and correct about little bulbs too...jane found some little bulbs when we were hunting in the shed for some wood stainer for an outside table !
