Spotted while blackberry picking and just asking to be photographed.
I tried to apply an infrared filter in PSE, but it hasn't really done the greens of the tree that well, but it has still created a nice monochrome shot.
I suspect the conversion didn't go as white as it should because the colour greens were quite dark greens due to the lack of sunlight.
The clouds turned out nice though.
I still think I could have upped the contrast even more.
Tree nicely positioned on the thirds for a pleasing composition.
so you should be Phil...I am always surprised how well some b/w come out even when you think fields should be naturally green....if I had done this shot I couldn't have made it b/w once I had seen it in green yet when others do this I love it!! Does that make sense?
@happypat yes makes sense Pat...i knew if would make a good monochrome before I even clicked the shutter ..you need to imagine the shot before you click :) ..thanks for your all your comments and support :)
