The long arm of the law

We have a saying in the UK, the 'long arm of the law'...... meaning the the law can reach anywhere.

This is my interpretation of the saying.

A football fan at yesterdays Bolton Wanderers versus Leeds United match embraces two of our 'boys in blue'....or in this case 'boys in high vis jackets'

The football was dire. Bolton Wanderers 0 Leeds United 1.

We had 18 shots on goal, only 1 on target. We are still looking for our first win of the season. Firmly planted at the bottom of the league with 2 points from 6 games !
