This is a footbridge leading to the Reebok Stadium, the home of Bolton Wanderers.
The bridge has appeared once before on my 365.
The dark clouds probably reflect the nature of the football club at the moment. Struggling near the foot of the table, under achieving players on top championship wages...supporters moaning and arguing on message boards about the style of football, the future of the club.
Anyway, today's football was as good as it's been all season...average, mediocre, lacking in confidence.
I like bridges, they are always photogenic and this bridge being modern and trendy does have a certain style to it.
I don't normally do 3GT's but I think I might do today:
1 - While having my Weetabix in the morning a Robin was in our bird bath and the radio played the Christmas classic...Jona Lewie - Stop The Cavalry
2 - The Pennines looked quite bleak yet somewhat beautiful as I drove across the M62
3 - Football fans in the stadium shaking hands and wishing each other Happy Christmas...despite the poor footie
Sounds a great atmosphere at the footie...Christmas does that to people ..pity it's not like that all year!! I like your TGTs ......sounds of a contented man! The Reebok is a rare sight as you go past on the M61.
