Black Skies Over Basford

When I set off on my lunch time walk on Thursday lunch time it was sunny.

I could see some black clouds in the distance but all of a sudden they just engulfed the area (great word engulfed).

This is about the half way point on my walk, so I had to do a brisk walk back to school.

By the time I'd got back to school it had just started 'hail stoning' ...and there was the most enormous crack of thunder.

Wow that is dark, I've have gone inside. When we see something like this around us, it is likely a tornado or hail storm.
