Urban park : Mono or HDR

I think this might be a garden of rest associated with St. Leodegarius Church, Old Basford. The reason I say that is there is a couple of big graves / monuments at the top of the hill (you might see it if you view large). Only two mind you !

It's across the road from the church so I might be wrong. The new Google Maps wasn't much help.

Anyway this is a montage from one shot on my mobile phone. Edited in phone to give a mono shot and a HDR shot and combined in phone to give a collage.

All done with a few swipes and taps of my finger. Not bad eh ?

Very cool

Splendid - you need a local history site!

@judithg i'm going to ask someone at the church when I next see someone...it has to be connected, unless it's a war memorial.

Well I usually go for the colour versions, but actually I think the contrasts work better in B&W

The bottom one has more interest, I think with the addition of the green layer!

I prefer the mono.

I like the HDR version, Phil, but that probably doesn't surprise you! I think detail in the sides of the structures gets lost in the b&w version that is visible in the color version. Nice!
