Under The Bridge

This is a shot from underneath the bridge that carries the Nottingham ring road over the 'Nottingham Robin Hood Railway Line", "The Nottingham Tram Route 1" and the "River Lene"

Shot while on my lunch time walk at work

It is a follow up to the 'yesterdays shot'.

I have a highly saturated colour version which I am going to enter into the Arnold and District Camera Club' theme competition of 'Bridges'.

I've done a mono version for 365 as the colour shot is a little too similar to yesterdays "Autumn Colours"

The area beyond the bridge is a little blown out and maybe I should have tried to tone it down a bit, but I do like the brightness as it is a bit like the light at the end of the tunnel :)

Very urban a gritty don't you think :)

I love a good gritty shot......a while since you mentioned the River Lene......the black & white looks perfect to show up the White graffiti although your colour version would look great & give great impact! I like looking through to,the end & the chap picking up leavesis a tidying contrast to all the general run downers if you get my meaning?
