Ready for the Off
The sign says "steep slopes", but these three lads are ready to test the steep slopes on their bikes.
Spotted at Gedling Country Park
Edited in Darktable , with lots of faffing about, including a 'pretend ND filter' to darken the skies and bring out detail in the clouds

Ali, Darktable lets you add the effect of an ND fillter , you just draw it onto the image, Rawtherapee does it too, you define the strength and where it ends, Just a few mouse clicks :)

I love this pic ... it says so much of hope and youthfulness, freedom (sitting on the edge of their world) and strength.

It looks like they are briefly weighing up and will launch at any moment - nice sense of suspense. Love the dof too.
