First Winter Snow by phil_howcroft

First Winter Snow

The first snow of the winter fell on Saturday evening which meant we woke up to a blanket of snow. Not too much mind you, perhaps 2 - 3 centimetres, but enough to amke a nice winter scene on ruby's morning walk.

This is a well photogrpahed scene on my 365. St. Mary's recreation park, Arnold. Behind St. Mary's church , hence the name :)

I wish I could get the whole of the tree on the right hand side into the frame, but there is a house garage from a row of garages that sneaks into frame and spoils the symmetry

Wonderful pic!

Nice scene - like the divide of the horizontal composition. We are seriously deprived of snow here.

Gorgeous view and a lovely capture and composition, Phil. We had hail that looked like snow in parts of the Island.

You'll just have to get them to knock the garage down, Phil. ;-)
Nice snow scene - I like the red bricks of the houses standing out from the neutrals - the warm colour makes me think of going in from the cold and warming up with hot drinks by cosy fires.
