...and i didn't do so.
...however I did take a pic through the glass screen to get s 'tram drivers view' from the Hucknall to Toton Lane tram.
The 'newer build trams' allow passengers on the front seat to get a great view, whereas the original 'older build trams don't'
On Friday Jane and I had a 'tram afternoon' , making use of a special "group rider" fare of £5-00 (£2-50 each bargain) to travel the whole of the tram network. We went Hucknall to Toton Lane, Toton Lane To Nottingham, Nottingham to Clifton, Clifton to Nottingham, Nottingham to Hucknall.
Oh and this is the "Stuart Broad" tram. All our trams are named after Nottingham people :)
Edited in Rawtherapee, with an Ilford XP2 film emulation and a pseudo ND filter to tone down the sky and approaching tram
Hope you like this unusual POV shot :) I do :)
BTW : Stuart broad is an English International Cricketer - a fast bowler . His dad also played for England - a batsman :)
We all like to sit up front with the driver!! Maybe you should explain to our overseas and non sporty types who Stuart Broad is!! :-) Great alternative view.
Sounds like a great fun day. Thanks for sharing . Great shot, HubbyMillie and I sat up front behind the driver on an Ice train in Germany it was really Awesome. Great place to sit behind the driver and fab photo opportunities
