This is Allena, stranger 74 in my 100 series. I met Allena on Sunday in Nottingham's Market Square.
Allena runs a luxury handcrafted Macaron business.
"Macaron Marlo" is a family run business based in Nottingham.
Allena was on her market stall, which was in a prime location in front of the Nottingham Council House.
I was struck by the cleanliness of the stall and the bright display of Macaron colours at the front of the stall.
I approached Allena and told her about the project and she agreed to let me take some shots. After I had took a few she seemed a little hesitant as she had recieved quite a few requests for pictures during the week and was wondering what people did with them. I got my phone out and showed her my 100 strangers flickr photos, which seemed to put Allena at ease. She asked me to take some photos of the stall too, to show of her splendid macaron's. She also asked if I did a back story to my strangers series, which I confirmed I did.
Allena's business is very much based on high quality products and the business visits various up market food events throughout the year including the Chartsworth Country Fair in September.

The photo was quite challenging as Allena's stall had some artificial lighting and bright branded stall covers
I edited the photo in Rawtherapee and used an Ilford Pan F Plus 50 film emulation filter.
