I went to Pride Park Derby today, to watch Bolton Wanderers play Derby County
I took my old Canon 450D , hoping to find a stranger for my project and also get some football related shots.
Derby County outsource the crowd safety to a private company i.e. Showsec
i approached a group of Showsec personnel outside the away turnstiles and asked if any of them would like to be one of my strangers.
No one came forward as a stranger but they did agree to a team photo
I thought the lady on the left hand side of the frame would have been a good stranger with her beautiful smile, hair and hat. I also told the lady on the right hand side of the frame that she had really nice glasses and eyes, whereupon she laughed and said I was trying to sweeten her into becoming a strranger
Anyway, I got a great team pic
As for the football , the Wanderers were dreadful and we slumped to a 3 nil defeat and are now back in serious relegation trouble
Haha, I think this is the first time that your smile did not hypnotise your subjects to pose for you. I agree with you that the lady on the left would have made a superb subject for your 100 Strangers. You have still got great shot for 365.
