I've photographed Our local parish church several times on my 365.
This is the first time with my Samyang 12mm
Beautiful lead in lines with the lavender and rose bordered path and some lovely late afternoon sun side lighting.
I was worried that I had some converging vertical on the tower, but when I looked on google maps, the church isn't square onto the path, so I think the tower is displayed in the correct perspective.
The big conifer on the right of the path sort of spoils the perfect view. It's only a conifer, perhaos the church council should consider chopping it down !
I think that is a Yew tree (which is a conifer of course), so popular in church yards. Popular belief is that Yew trees were planted in the church yards to keep sheep and cattle out owing to their poisonous leaves and bark.
However, the view is lovely, using the lavender beds as leading lines.
