Passers by peeking into the gap in the sliding doors of the Vintage Warehouse.
It had rained quite a bit in the morning and then we had a burst of sunshine. It helped illuminate the shutter doors and wall and made some nice light on the road.
I think that little door in the wall is an important part of the image as it creates a nice triangle between little door , big shutter doors and the people.
Shot with my Sony A6000, Sony 50mm f1.8 and edited in Rawtherapee and GIMP
I suppose I should have shot a vintage warehouse with one of my vintage lenses !!!
At first sight I thought the lady was a nun in her traditional habit. Beautiful candid shot and the gap seems to draw the attention and curiosity of passers-by.
I like this a lot. I did a couple of series of similar shots a while back (first in b&w then in colour, both with film and vintage camera,as I recall. A vintage lens would make an interesting comparison here if all other factors (light, weather etc) were the same.
