This is my friend Mellonie Page, who long time followers may recognise her as she has appeared on my photostream a few time as a singer and in the fashion shoot I did for her last year.
Her band , the Mellonie Page Band were appearing at the Hockley Arts Club and I took my camera along to capture a few pic.
This is her favourite shot from the gig. I shot this with a TTL flash (I don't normally shoot flash), but the venue was quite dark.
The keyboard player in the background is her husband Winnie
I had to clone a big lampshade out that was hanging in the top left hand corner of the frame
